零序电流互感器一般都用在高压系统,一个独立的系统,有一个(可能产生的)最大接地电流,当系统中某一线路(或设备)发生接地故障时,让故障线路的电源侧断路器跳开,这个故障信号是从零序电流互感器检测到并送到保护器,让断路器跳闸。选择零序电流互感器的方法主要有二条:1、所接线路发生接地时,接地电流能使保护正确动作(包括发信),不使零序电流互感器发生磁饱和,就是根据系统最大接地电流来选;2、根据所接电缆(线路的方式(三芯电缆还是三根单芯电缆)及电缆的大小(零序电流互感器的孔)来选择(配置)。
